I used the test site and was able to send myself a trackback, but still can’t trackback to other sites.

Let’s see if trackback works. I got the trackback from and earlier post (upper or lower case).
It did not appear to work the first time. I’m trying a second time.

I just tried another trackback (4/20/2005). From what I’ve read, this is an ongoing problem with WordPress.
Still learning a great deal about this program. I’m glad I wasn’t planning on going live right away.
Learned yesterday how to change themes which I’ll do after finishing this post. Next I’ll have to try downloading a theme and installing it. I’ve just changed the theme to the WordPress Classic (from the 1.2 days ;)).
You might have also noticed the winky face… nice touch.
I don’t have a lot of hope that this will work but here goes. Just changed my mind. I found the answers on the WordPress forum.
I was finally able to log in as Cherokee (notice the capital C). When logging in, I was typing it with a small c and consequently kept getting a bad password error. So, logging in requires that you keep everything the same.
I see that also, when you save a draft, it will return you to the advanced form automatically, when you return. BTW, you only see a preview of your writing in the advanced form.
